The Schooner Suite has a small ship's ladder to reach the bedroom, and the Merchant's Quarters is on the 2nd floor. Are you physically able to use stairs?

Things to note before you submit! This art retreat program includes everything listed under your suite's information on the Porter's Landing Guesthouse website, and use of the shared art studio from 6AM until 10 PM daily. Due to the fact that this is an old village with close houses, it's asked that quiet times in the studio are from 6-8 AM, and from 8-10PM. You can work, but do it respectfully. :)  At no time can you bring anyone not invited to the art retreat program back to the retreat. You must arrange your own transportation to and from Maine, however, pickup can be arranged and is free from the Freeport Maine Amtrak Station or the Portland Maine Jetport. Just let us know if you'll be needing that!    This is a creative retreat! There are two artist suites, so you may be at Creative Landing at the same time as another artist. For some people a retreat means that they want quiet, peace, and reflection. Others may want to be social with the other artists. Both are fine! It's just important to remember to respect what each person wants out of their retreat. There are ZERO expectations for people to hang out, be social or not social, or even to leave their rooms! This is YOUR amazing Maine Retreat! The only thing expected is for you to have time to be your creative, wonderful self! Refunds: If you need to cancel your retreat for a health reason, you will be given a full refund. For other reasons, you will be given a refund if I am able to fill your spot with another artist. Please keep this in mind when you apply. Let me know if you have any questions about this policy.  Please note that breakfast is not included in the price of your art retreat. The suites have kitchenettes, so preparing food is an option for you! If you would like to add on breakfast to your retreat week, the cost will be an additional $12 per day. This is one of the ways that we keep the cost of the art retreats affordable!  It is understood that this retreat is a way for artistic people to spend a week in an inspirational location at a minimal cost!
